Llamedos Dois is a lovely three bedroomed, two bathroomed "cottage" with superb sea views and is located within the Ocean Club at Praia da Luz. The cottage, although recently built, has all the charm and comfort of a traditional Portugese Villa, it is just two minutes walk from Luz centre with a further two minutes walk to the sea front. This is a location from which you can choose any type of holiday you wish, from lazing by the pool or beach, surfing, sailing, golf, horse riding or taking long walks on the cliff tops. All are within ten minutes reach of Llamedos Dois. The Ocean Club has three magnificent pools, (one of which is exclusively for adults) all with pool bars, and five tennis courts with the most well-known tennis centre on the western Algarve. There is a restaurant on site and no less than a dozen others all within five to ten minutes walk from the cottage. A separately managed Water Sports Centre operates from a beautiful beach which is perfect for sailing and surfing but an equally safe place for children to play. Local golf Courses include Boa Vista which is ten minutes away, and Palmares and Parque de Floresta are within fifteen minutes, there are a further four courses (including Penina) thirty minutes drive away. Price concessions on golf booked at the Ocean Club apply to nearly all the local courses. On the first floor Llamedos Dois has a large open plan lounge with satellite television, dining area, and beautiful fitted kitchen, the lounge opens onto a balcony with patio furniture and superb views over the village and sea. On the ground floor there is one double bedroom ensuite opening onto the patio and garden, and a further bathroom and two twin bedded rooms opening onto their own patio at the rear of the cottage. Outside there is a large patio area with furniture, lawn and garden. Maid service is provided. It is a perfect base for exploring the unspoilt Western Algarve, the most south westerly point of Europe is only 30 minutes drive away at Sagres and the ancient lighthouse at Cape St Vincent is a must to visit. There are numerous 'hidden' beaches and coves along the western Algarve that are wonderful to explore, or you may wish to wander lazily around the village of Luz and enjoy its old Portugese character and charm. For anyone wishing to enjoy traditional Portugese shopping the streets of Lagos have remained virtually unchanged for hundreds of years and provide a very different shopping/eating experience. One can easily spend two or three days just wandering around Lagos, having coffee in the open air cafes and squares, visiting the new Marina, the old churches and museum and the many beaches with their rock sculptures. Lagos has justifiably been named 'the jewel of the Algarve' and has something to offer everyone. Praia da Luz offers a wonderful relaxing holiday or a place to exercise and have fun, and Llamedos Dois is a beautiful cottage in which to spend your time there.
